Nothing adds dimension and texture and pizzazz to your knitting like cables! Come learn how easy it is to incorporate cable designs into knitted pieces.
Our project will be this cabled iPad mini-sized case, "The Aunt Dahlia," plus we will learn the techniques to do just about any other kind of cable knitting!
What you need to know: How to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off.
What you'll learn: Cables! The case will fit an iPad mini or Kindle-sized device.
What you'll need to bring: Worsted weight yarn, approximately 200 yards, US size 6, a cable needle, scissors, stitch markers, row counters. You'll also need a button for finishing.
When, where, and how much: Saturday, October 27, at Barnes & Noble (Rivers Ave, North Charleston), $40 per student (includes pattern). Ages 12 and up.
