This Fall we are looking at color--how to put more different colors in your knitting, by use of a variety of techniques. One way is with stripes--add the pleat stitch and felt it and you have something really special!
Whenever I use my Alluvia felted tote, I get compliments from knitters and non-knitters alike. I have designed this day-long workshop to focus on the techniques needed to make your own Alluvia, and I've made it easy--all you have to bring are your needles (and some random knitting accessories).
Your day will include: breakfast, lessons in pleat stitch, an opportunity to felt some samples of knitted wool, lessons in I-cord, a delicious lunch, the Alluvia felted tote pattern by Allison Haus, plus all the yarn you'll need to make the bag (11 skeins in 7 colors--see the chart below for options).
I'm so excited about spending the day knitting with you!
