Beginning Crochet

  • Panera Bread International Boulevard North Charleston, SC, 29418 United States (map)

Yes, you read that right! I am offering a Beginning Crochet class. Crochet is a great skill to have in your stitching skills tool box, and it's really easy to learn the basics!

During this class we'll learn how to make a slip knot, crochet chain and to use the single crochet stitch. Also, the very lovely technique of attaching a crocheted border (which you can use in your knitting!).

When, Where and How Much: Saturday, August 19 from 2-4 pm at the Panera near the outlet mall. Class is $25/person. Ages 12 and up.

What you need to bring: A crochet hook, size "H" and one skein or ball of cotton yarn, available from Wal-Mart or any local craft store. Look for either "Sugar n'Cream" or "Peaches and Creme" brand, any color, worsted weight. I recommend a bright color so you can see your stitches!

Sign up on the Facebook events page or email me at knitoasis at gmail dot com by August 17.  THIS CLASS FILLS QUICKLY!
