What you need to know: The basics: How to cast on, knit, purl and bind off.
What you'll learn: Long stitch technique, knitting in the round, techniques for loose bind offs and eye-catching cast ons
What you need to bring:
US Size 8 (5 mm), 36” circular needles
Suggested yarns (you’ll need 200-400 yards):
*LYDIA Yarns Squishy DK (100% Superwash Merino Wool, 230 yards/100 gram) *Plucky Sweater DK (90% Merino, 10% Nylon 270 yards)
*KnitPicks Gloss DK (70% Merino wool, 30% Silk, 123 yards/50 grams) Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Long: Approximately 8 inches wide x 58 inches long
Short: Approximately 8 inches wide x 29 inches long
Approximately 15 stitches = 4 inches in stockinette stitch knit in the round.
