Mosaic Knitting: Adding Color without the Fuss

Adding color to your knitting can be simple or complex. Learning a few tricks and techniques can take your projects from good to great with the wow factor of color.

Mosaic Knitting utilizes a slip-stitch technique to add more than one color to a row. Once you get the hang of it, it's fun to experiment with different patterns.

In this 2 hour class you'll learn how to make your knitting pop with Mosaic Knitting.

What you need to know: The basics of knitting--how to cast on, knit, purl and bind off.

What you need to bring: Needles, US Size 6 and Yarn: Worsted weight in  2 contrasting colors, approximately 150-200 yards of each. Class project is a mosaic bag.

When, Where, and How Much: Saturday, May 27, 2-4pm at the Panera near the Outlet Mall in N. Charleston; class fee is $25 per student, ages 12 and up.
