Toe-Up Socks?? Are you ready to turn your knitting upside down?
You'll learn the fun Eastern/Turkish cast on and the German short row heel. (Bonus points if you bring yarn made in Italy or something…haha)
This is an intensive class, covering a lot of ground in 3 hours, so come prepared to work!
You’ll need to bring:
NEEDLES: US size 2 (2.75 mm) double pointed needles, set of 5, at least 6 inches long
YARN: 100 gram of sock yarn (also called fingering weight or super fine or size 1) I’m using Patons Kroy Socks (75% washable wool, 25% nylon). PLEASE have your yarn balled and ready to use!
ALSO: stitch markers, scissors, row counter, a pen or pencil for taking notes (bonus points if it’s a KnitOasis pen!)
When and where: Saturday, June 2, 9am-noon, the cafe inside the Barnes and Noble on Rivers Ave, North Charleston.
