My most requested type of class is for beginners. Total beginners—folks with no clue what the difference is between knitting and crochet, what a dye lot is, never held a skein of yarn—these kinds of beginners. If this sounds like you (or someone you know), and yet you have always wanted to know what all the fuss is about when people talk about knitting, then this class is for you!
Join me for a 3-hour, starting from the beginning, Knitting 101 class on Tuesday, March 26, from 5:30-8:30pm at Redux Contemporary Art Studio (1056 King Street).
You’ll learn the basics of knitting—how to cast on, knit, and bind off. You’ll be making a bookmark in class, with follow-up patterns for either a dishcloth or scarf after class.
All materials for the class project will be supplied, and with your class fee you will receive a pair of knitting needles to keep (because I know you’ll want to continue with your new skills!).
Class size is kept small to ensure the highest quality instruction. Register today at Redux.
