You'll learn to cast on, knit and bind off, plus Yarn + Needles 101. If you're taking this course as a refresher, we can add the purl stitch as well.
Beginner project is either a dishcloth or scarf. For either project you'll need US Size 7 or 8 (4.5mm or 5mm) knitting needles, preferably straight and preferably wood or bamboo.
For the dishcloth you'll need one ball or skein of 100 % cotton yarn in a light or bright color, approximately 120 yards, worsted weight (or "medium" or "4").
For the scarf you'll need approximately 400-450 yards of yarn, acrylic, wool blend or wool, worsted weight (or "medium" or "4").
