Dr. Who Dalek Beret Knitting Pattern

Bobbles are worked in one stitch to create a small ball of fabric. Some require you to turn the work, some take more than one row—all give you some pretty exciting texture. This particular arrangement of bobbles was inspired by
the Daleks from Dr. Who. (The Red Drones

can be seen in “Asylum of the Daleks”)

MATERIALS:

US Size 7 (4.5mm) needles, 16” circular; US Size 7 (4.5mm) needles, double- pointed, set of 4.
KnitPicks Wool of the Andes (100% Peruvian wool, worsted weight; 110 yards/ 50 gram ball) 2 balls in Red, row counter, stitch markers

GAUGE:

Approximately 5 sts = 1 inch in stockinette stitch in the round.
SIZE:
Fits adult head, approximately 22 inches diameter.
